Social Media Analogy
Have you heard of PM (Private Message) and currently it's all about DM (Direct Message) on Facebook or Instagram. What does PM or DM mean?
Private Message
Facebook makes it easy to send a private message to an individual without sharing it with others.
1. Navigate to Facebook and log in to the site.
2. Choose the person you wish to send a message to by either clicking his name in your "Friends" list or typing his name in the search box at the top of the page.
Direct Message
1.Click at the top right of the screen.
2.Click New Message.
3.Start typing a name into the To field. Names of friends will appear in a drop-down.
4.Select the person or people you want to message.
5.Type your message, then press enter to send.
